About the event

Some Basic Details for August 1st
Food and drinks will be served throughout the event
We've set aside some time mid-way for short speeches, eulogies, and sharing memories
The event will be held outdoors, rain or shine, with tents and seating available
Parking will be limited, so please consider carpooling, or arriving via boat to the shore wherever possible
More info will be sent via email to registered guests 14 days and 5 days beforehand with more details
Accessibility for the Event
We want to ensure guests with accessibility or mobility issues are able to attend. If you require a walker, rollator, wheelchair, or other assistive mobility device to get around, or if you have other mobility or accessibility needs, please email us before the event at contact@kimmelfamily.ca so we can ensure you have the access and support you need to be comfortable.
The event will be held on level terrain without a slope, on slightly-uneven ground.
At most, mounting or descending one vertical step less than 4" high is required to enter or exit the building.
All toilets for the event will be level-access.

Search your photo albums, camera roll, and shoeboxes for photos of Lon from the last 77 years of his life. You can email Lon's sons to get an upload link for digital photos, or you bring physical photos with you to be scanned and returned to you.
Connect with other friends and family of Lon's to inform them of the event, and to plan a carpool or have a Designated Driver where appropriate - parking will be limited, and the bar will be open!
